SUMMARY:24th Annual SAA Winter 12-Step Retreat - 2026
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special trip through the Twelve Steps\, as they did it at the beginning of AA. You will have the opportunity for \na spiritual experience in a setting that could not be better for it. \n24th Annual SAA Winter 12-Step Retreat – 2026 \nFriday\, February 27\, 2026\, through Sunday\, March 1\, 2026 \nCurrent info at: http://phoenixsaaretreat.org Questions: Jim – 623-252-1428 \nRegistration: Back at the Holy Trinity Monastery\, St. David\, Arizona. The registrations are limited to 55 individuals \nonly. \n Registrations will be open until the first 55 are received or Tuesday\, February 11\, 2026\, whichever comes \nfirst. All attendees must pre-register and pre-pay for the retreat. Registration can be completed at \nwww.phoenixsaaretreat.org. Once payment is received\, the individual will be confirmed as an attendee. \nIndividuals who do not pre-register/pre-pay may be asked to leave prior to the start of the retreat. \nWhat: 12 Step Retreat. Sponsored by Jim A\, Paul B\, & Allan B. \nWho: Any SAA member\, male or female\, who is willing to go to any length for a spiritual experience. \nWhere: Holy Trinity Monastery\, St David\, Arizona \nFrom Phoenix\, go past Tucson – East on Interstate-10\, take exit 303 or 304 (Benson) south on Highway 80 (Tombstone & \nDouglas) to St David (approx. 8 miles) – Monastery is located south of St David between milepost 302 and 303. Look for \na large Celtic cross in the woods on the right side of the road. \nWhen: Arrive Friday afternoon. The program will begin at 6:00 PM with dinner\, followed by our First Step at 7:00 PM. \nWe will continue through Sunday and should finish Step 12 by Noon. \nWhat to Bring: An AA Big Book\, SAA Green Book\, clothes\, and supplies for three days. Also\, bring soda or other \ncanned/bottled drinks if you would like them\, as the monastery only supplies coffee\, water\, and juices for breakfast. They \ndo serve dinner on Friday\, three meals on Saturday\, and breakfast on Sunday. The food is wonderful\, and it is included in \nyour registration fee. The weather is colder\, so bring warm clothing\, a flashlight\, a notebook\, pencils or pens. \nCost: $240 includes two nights lodging and five meals. Scholarships may be available\, although they will be limited\, and \nindividuals needing scholarships will not be confirmed until the week prior to the retreat. All scholarship funds will be \ndivided equally between those who request scholarships. All donations over the actual cost for this year’s retreat will be \nused to fund scholarships\, and any funds over that amount will be donated to the ISO or local intergroup. Payments and \nDonations can be made with Paypal\, Zelle\, or Venmo. Links and registration can be found at www.phoenixsaaretreat.org \nand will be given after registration. \nPlease do not let the cost be an issue in coming to our retreat\, as Scholarships may be made available that can \nhelp defray all or part of the suggested donation. Because of the limited space and resources\, all scholarship \nfunds will be divided equally between those who request scholarships.
